The charm of this classic hotel swept me away, capturing the essence of a bygone era with marble details and beautiful chandeliers. My Deluxe Junior Suite was spacious and impeccably clean, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff that made my stay feel like home. The antiquated lift requiring manual door closure added character to my stay. Being able to browse vintage art adorning the hotel walls truly immersed me in Cairo's rich history.

The room featured a minifridge, and it provided access to local attractions nearby, including Tahrir Square within walking distance.
Upon arrival, there was a significant issue with the pricing. Despite requests, a refund for the room overcharge took several days, leading to an unnecessary payment in Egyptian pounds instead of euros, even after initial assurances. The linens were not clean and had noticeable dust, exacerbating allergy concerns. The mini-bar obstructed the room door, causing entry issues. the windows failed to block out substantial street noise, keeping the disturbances ongoing throughout the night.
